Inbility to accept some fx deals

I am having an issue where users are unable to accept deals. Finacle Treasury crashes when the accept button is clicked.

The error returned is “null pointer to IQmedium data”

During my troubleshooting session, I noticed a trend. When the buy/sell direction is updated and saves, the deal is able to be accepted.

What could be causing this?

null pointer to IQmedium data.

This error seems to be coming from the details given on the settlement tab. Especially, the settlement method and Nostro.

Looks like the value given is not recognized by the system. Also, be sure there is no extra space given in the value. If there is, the system won’t recognize the value.

‘SWIFT’ and ‘SWIFT ‘ are not the same.
